DIY SOS Ripple Blanket

This is the crocheted blanket that I made for DIY SOS and the amazing Amanda Newton.

As seen in the Arundel Episode, first aired on BBC1 4th January 2018.

Standard ripple pattern.

The sizing of the blanket is up to you. I had to make an extra wide one. The pattern is a 14 stitch repeat so to change the width change in multiples of 14. If starting from scratch calculate a multiple of 14 stitches plus 3 extra for the first stitch in Row 1

Chain 381 finished approx. 2m wide EXTRA. ( Note your chain will look longer than the finished width of the blanket as it does draw in). I used Stylecraft Special DK and a ball of each colour but it will depend on your tension and also how big your blanket is

 Row 1
