At this month's charity sew morning we made fidget quilts for people with dementia. A fantastic way to unleash creativity whilst helping vulnerable lcoal people, the fidget quilts were made using buttons, zips, pockets, ribbons and a variety of different-textured fabrics.
Last week saw our first workshop run by Natasha from Auricula Jewellery. We made necklaces using tiger tail wire and lots of lovely beads.
If you receive our newsletter you will have already heard about our first ever craft swap. A craft swap is a really fun and simple idea.
You make a project in the theme of the swap, and post it to your swap partner. And then you get one in return! A fantastic way to share and receive some crafty inspiration.
Theme: Make a needlecase or pincushion in the style of your choice. It can be sewn, crocheted, felted, knitted or made in any way you like - it's up to you!
