Made and Making are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Great British Sewing Bee finalist Joyce at our Studio in the Heritage Barn at South Downs Nurseries on Saturday 10th September.Joyce will be joining us for a cuppa to share some of her stories from the show and show us a selection of the garments that she made. There will be the chance to hear a little bit about behind the scenes, ask her a question or two and see the garments up close.To thank her for taking the time to come and see us we are using the morning to raise funds for her chosen charity, Three Ways School, with which her family have close links. The event will be ticket only and we will be holding a raffle with a fantastic prize including the PVC alteration challenge garment from the show iteself.

Delighted, that with our October session almost full, I have got some additonal dates from our pattern cutting tutor. Not only for dress blocks but also for trouser blocks now too.

At the end of June Elaine ran another very successful and relaxing hand embroidery workshop. The focus is on learning techniques and stitches before working to comeplete a fianl design.
