Big yarn hand knitted blanket
Did you know that you can knit a chunky blanket using only your hands? In this workshop you will learn this hand knitting technique and make a perfect lap sized blanket. These make fabulous gifts and can be easily knitted up in a few hours and are so much fun to make!
What will we cover?
You will be shown how to cast on and knit each row and also how to cast off. There are no silly questions in our studio, you will be guided through the whole process by our friendly tutor.
How will I be taught?
In our light and airy studio.
Do I need any previous experience or skills?
This fun technique is suitable for all.
Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?
You will need to purchase the yarn before the session, please bring 4 x 300g of the Snug as a Bug BIG yarn. It comes in lots of colours and can be purchased from Wool Warehouse and other outlets:

What will I take home with me?
Depending on your speed, you may be able to complete your blanket in the session, but if not you will have the necessary skills be able to go home and finish it in your own time.

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.
