Children’s sweet wrapper pouch

Sweet wrapper pouch workshop

How much fun is this? We will be working with real sweet wrappers to make zipped pouches.

This workshop is a brilliant opportunity to introduce your child to a sewing machine. Sewing is a life skill and a wonderful skill to gift.

During the session we will explain how a sewing machine works, how to sew (with an emphasis on beginning, finishing and respecting your seam allowance). This is a great project for the beginner as there is lots of sewing involved! With this project we have to prepare the sweet wrappers ahead of the workshop but you will be able to personalise your pouch with a choice of zip and lining.

All you need to do is drop them off. We’ll give them a drink and a biscuit and have them waiting with a lovely pouch to take home.

Our tutor is DBS checked.

Open to 8 years and up.
