Corner to Corner Crochet

corner to corner crochet workshop

A crochet workshop for those that can already crochet.

Corner to corner crochet is becoming increasingly popular as a method to create pixellated projects.

This striking technique looks most impressive with regular colour changes, making it a great way to use up your stash of yarn.

We will work to complete a sampler square including a pattern.

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

What will we cover?

Starting in one corner, we’ll build out in rows to create a slanting pattern.

We’ll show you:

  • the techniques you need for corner to corner crochet
  • how to read corner to corner patterns
  • things to consider when creating your own pattern.

We’ll guide you through the whole process as we each create our own small sampler piece.

How will I be taught?

You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.

You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

Yes, you need to know the basics of crochet to join this course.

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

Please bring along a selection of DK yarn and a 4mm hook.

What will I take home with me?

You’ll leave with your sampler square, a pattern and principles you can apply to lots more projects.

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.

During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
