Crochet Flowers
Come and join the wonderful Eleonora aka Coastal Crochet in making some fabulous crochet flowers. Eleonora will be sharing five flower designs; tulip, daffodil, rose, bluebell and freesia and guiding you through the patterns.
Suitable for advanced beginners who have a basic understanding of crochet.
What will we cover?
During the session you will cover a variety of crochet stitches, each will be shown to you but it is expected that you would already be familiar with the basics of the crochet technique. You will then go on to learn how to create not only flat but the three dimensional designs too.
With your new found skills you will be able to crochet your won everlasting bouquet perfect for any spare jug or jam jar.
How will I be taught?
You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.
You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.
Your tutor Eleonora is a crochet blogger and published pattern designer.
Do I need any previous experience or skills?
This workshop is suitable for advanced beginners. You will need a basic understanding of crochet and be able to do the basic stitches. Eleonora will be happy to guide you through new stitches where needed.
Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?
Please bring your choice of yarn and hooks. You may wish to bring a variety of yarns to experiment with different sizes and results. For the flowers shown try a cotton 4ply yarn was used such as ‘Scheepjes Catona’ with a 3mm hook.
Craft wire will be provided which is used for the stems and crocheted around.
What will I take home with me?
You will take home the flowers you have created and the full written patterns will be yours to take away at the end of the workshop so you will be able to make a whole bouquet to give as gifts or just for yourself!

Tutor
Eleonora Tully
Eleonora is a passionate crochet designer and blogger. Her Dutch mother crocheted her own wedding dress in 1974 and Eleonora was wrapped in crocheted blankets soon after she was born - it really has always been a part of her life! Eleonora lives with her husband, three children and family dog, a Miniature Schnauzer called Salty. As a designer she draws a lot of inspiration from the coastline where she lives, and shares this through her blog: www.coastalcrochet.com. Many of Eleonora's designs have been published in magazines including 'Simply Crochet', ‘Inside Crochet’ and 'Crochet Now', and she posts regular updates on her popular Instagram account @coastalcrochet. In her day job she works part time as a nurse and has hosted crochet workshops as part of local NHS wellbeing events.
