What will we cover?

You’ve mastered the basics of crochet, perhaps on a beginner’s course, and now you want to extend your skills.  Maybe you have a pile of granny squares but need inspiration for what to do with them.

Come and learn different ways to join squares or other motifs together, and how to get an excellent finish, in our popular workshop.

We’ll cover five different joining techniques, giving you plenty of options and confidence to choose the one you want.

We’ll also show you how to put together some lovely crocheted finishing trims which can be used for fabric as well as crocheted projects.

How will I be taught?

You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.

You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

Yes, you need to already know the basics of crochet.

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

You’ll need to bring along at least six granny squares to practise on, ideally with at least four to six rounds.

All other materials are included but you are very welcome to bring your favoured hook and yarns if you wish.

What will I take home with me?

You’ll take home the granny squares you brought with you, joined together in a variety of ways.

You’ll also have samples and patterns of crochet trims.

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.

During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
