What will we cover?

The pattern is called Delft and it can be made in lots of different colour ways.

This is a great project for an advancing beginner. The blanket is created with a number of repeating blocks which are joined together, making it a great ‘on the go’ project. The numerous colour changes give a great colour education along the way too.

During this day workshop we will work through one of the hexagonal blocks learning the stitches and colour changes necessary. We will also look into the joining of the blocks and the border.

How will I be taught?

You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.

You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

This is a great project for an advancing beginner.

Basic crochet experience required. Attendance of our beginners class and some subsequent practice would be sufficient.

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

You will need to purchase the kit in your preferred colour way which includes all the yarn and the pattern. Most of the major online wool stores offer kits, the Wool Warehouse has a good selection:
