Get to know needles and threads

needles and threads online masterclass

ONLINE WORKSHOP via ZOOM

Baffled by all the choices of needles and threads? Do you ever wonder what the difference is between a stretch needle and a jersey needle. When to choose a 100 over an 80 or whether you should be using a universal or microtex needle? Wonder no longer.

Building on the success of our Get To Know Fabrics masterclass we are now tackling needles and threads. During this listen and learn session we’ll talk through options in both hand and machine sewing needles and how to make the best thread choices. Having the right tools always makes a difference and choosing the right thread for your stitching really finishes a project off.

This is an online session but we’re putting together a great sample pack for you. You need to be able to see up close just what the threads look and like so there will be some Aurifil threads that you can touch and feel. Plus to see how needles actually differ there will be a selection of Schmetz needles so that you can see and feel exactly what we will be talking through.

This session will be recorded and available in your online account 72 hours after the event so don’t worry if you can’t make the live date and time.

To ensure that you receive your sample pack in timed for the live session you must book by Monday 5th July.
