Join us for this great workshop to make your very own Inside Outside pouch – a perfect storage solution with a handy clear vinyl front and multiple zipped sections to help you organise whatever you feel needs it! It could be threads, crochet needles, buttons etc. The possibilities are endless…

We will show you step by step but some previous experience of using a sewing machine would be beneficial. We will cover how to successfully insert a zip and sew with vinyl – both very useful skills to have!

This brilliant pattern is by Aneela Hoey and is included in the price.

What you will need

You will need to bring:

  • Fat quarter of quilting cotton for the exterior
  • Fat quarter of quilting cotton for the lining
  • Fat quarter of quilting cotton for the pocket binding/gussets
  • 1/8 yard of quilting cotton for the pouch binding
  • 1 zipper 14″ long
  • 2 zippers 9″ long
  • 3/4 of a yard of woven fusible interfacing

Refreshments

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.

Sarah Brangwyn

Owner of Made and Making, Sarah has been sewing all her life. Her passion is helping others to gain the same level of enjoyment from mastering these creative skills. She's known for her infectious enthusiasm, her endless knowledge and for her knack for explaining things clearly, leading to lots of 'aha!' moments. In a previous life, Sarah was a branch manager in an insurance firm. Taking redundancy in 2012 allowed her to follow her dream of creating a hub for sewing and craft. At Made and Making Sarah teaches sewing, crochet, needle felting and other craft courses. She's also one of the tutors for the children's workshops. When family life allows, Sarah loves nothing more than immersing herself in her own projects.
