Join As You Go Crochet

Join as you go crochet workshop

A crochet workshop for those that have already attended a learn to crochet session or similar.

You don’t have to wait until the end of your project to join all your crochet motifs together. Joining them as you go is a satisfying way to work and also saves time sewing in countless ends.

This workshop is being led by Sarah.

07 May 2024

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

What will we cover?

Come and learn the ‘join as you go’ technique which is great for making a blanket, cushion cover or even a bath mat.

We’ll help you build your pattern reading skills, working with a simple flower pattern, and then show you how to  join the flowers together as you go.

This workshop is led by Sarah.

How will I be taught?

You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.

You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

Yes, you need to already know the basics of crochet.

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

You will need to bring along DK yarn in your chosen colours and a 4mm hook. We’ll make a sample in the workshop which you may or may  not wish to continue at home.

If you wish to make a blanket, please bring at least a 100g ball of each colour.

What will I take home with me?

You’ll take home your sample, or the beginnings of your ‘join as you go’ crocheted blanket.

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.

During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
