Mosaic Crochet

mosaic crochet

A  crochet workshop for those that can already crochet.

Mosaic crochet is a  contemporary method with a modern vibe. Worked in two colours and with geometric styling it is a two row colour change method of crochet with no loose ends to stitch in. You will work on a small piece building your knowledge of the mosaic crochet technique, stitch and the pattern reading skills. This can be big enough to make a small project from.

This workshop is being led by Sarah.

What will we cover?

Worked in two colours, this is a two-row colour-change method with geometric styling. And the bonus is that there are no loose ends to stitch in. Perfect. You’ll work on a small piece of mosaic crochet, building your knowledge of the technique and stitch, as well as improving your pattern-reading skills.

How will I be taught?

You’ll be taught in our lovely studio by a friendly and experienced tutor, through demonstration and guidance as you work.

You’ll also be able to ask questions, making sure everything is clear and that you’re getting the best results you can.

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

Yes, this workshop is for people who are already confident with the basics of crochet.

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

Please bring along two colours of DK or 4-ply yarn with a corresponding crochet hook. We’ll be making a small sample piece so this is a great opportunity to bust your stash!

What will I take home with me?

The sample piece you make can be big enough to turn into a small project back at home.

Drinks and biscuits will be available but we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you.

During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
