Do you want to be part of our Patchwork Posse?

We’ve been listening to everyone who tells us how much they enjoying being part of our community and sometimes just want to come and soak it up.

These new sessions are for lovers of patchwork and quilting to come together (whether you have been before or not), make friends and chat all things patchwork. All that whilst of course doing a bit of sewing too. The best bit is that you can work on projects that you want to undertake, new ones or one of your UFO’s sitting in the cupboard. You can bring along anything patchwork and quilting and if you need help we’ll be there by your side to give you some guidance.

Dates are bookable individually so there is no commitment to a long course. Book for  just come when you are free or if you prefer block book a series of sessions to get you in the flow.

Whether it’s traditional machine piecing, FPP or EPP bring it along and work on it in the company of like minded friends with help available if you need it.

What will we cover?

This session is for you to bring your own patchwork project to work on, help is available should you need it

in our light and airy studio by our friendly, experienced tutor

Do I need any previous experience or skills?

No experience necessary

Are materials provided? Is there anything I need to source myself?

Please bring everything you need for your project, you are welcome to use our sewing machines and we have patchwork rulers and rotary cutters that you can borrow.

What will I take home with me?

Progress on your own project!

Sarah Brangwyn
Sarah Brangwyn

Owner of Made and Making, Sarah has been sewing all her life. Her passion is helping others to gain the same level of enjoyment from mastering these creative skills. She's known for her infectious enthusiasm, her endless knowledge and for her knack for explaining things clearly, leading to lots of 'aha!' moments. In a previous life, Sarah was a branch manager in an insurance firm. Taking redundancy in 2012 allowed her to follow her dream of creating a hub for sewing and craft. At Made and Making Sarah teaches sewing, crochet, needle felting and other craft courses. She's also one of the tutors for the children's workshops. When family life allows, Sarah loves nothing more than immersing herself in her own projects.
