Persian Tiles – Eastern Jewels crochet blanket

Jane Crowfoot eastern jewels colour way

The beautiful crochet blanket, designed by Jane Crowfoot, is an absolute stunner. The pattern is called Persian Tiles it can be seen here in the Eastern Jewels colour way.

This is a great project for an advancing beginner. The blanket is created with a number of repeating blocks which are joined together, making it a great ‘on the go’ project. The numerous colour changes give a great colour education along the way too.

During this day workshop we will work through one of the octagonal blocks learning the stitches and colour changes necessary. With time allowing we’ll then cover the granny square inspired fillers. We will also look into the joining of the blocks and the borders.

Basic crochet experience required. Attendance of our beginners class and some subsequent practice would be sufficient.

Finished blanket size is approx 115cm x 115cm
