Reduction lino printing

reduction lino workshop

This is an ideal follow on workshop for those who have some experience in lino printing or who have completed our introduction to lino session and would like to develop their skills.

In this 2 day workshop you will create multi-colour prints using the reduction method of printmaking.

Reduction lino cutting is a relief printmaking technique which involves cutting and printing several layers of colour from the same block of lino in order to build up an image. You will be destroying the block in the process . You will be using water based inks and soft cut vinyl lino which is easy to clean, cut and print from allowing you to make an expressive print.

This workshop is run by local artist Sue Collins.
