Scrap busting stationary set – On line via Zoom

scrap busting stationary

Fancy a bit of fun sewing? Using scrappy strips we’ll complete these fab simple projects in an online class.

This is a great beginners sewing project as you can build your skills piecing and quilting without the pressure of precision on your shoulder. Not got any colourful scraps in your stash.. don’t worry we can supply those too. Our kit will differ from the photo but include a selection of bright coordinating fabrics.

During the course of this session we will make a notebook cover and a zipped pouch which can become a pencil case or something different.  We will explore playing with scraps and how to create a useful fabric with them before going on to learn simple quilting. We will then look at quilting techniques before considering construction techniques and learning how to insert a zip with tab ends to give a  really nice neat finish. This will be a fun session and create two useful projects to keep or give away.

Please note that bookings for the kit close 7 days prior to ensure that we have enough time to post out your supplies. You will be required to cut out your fabrics from instructions ahead of the session.

This is an online class live class on ZOOM that will be recorded so you will be able to rewatch and catch up at a later date should you so wish. The recording will be available within 3 days of the event.
