We are delighted to be running the Jennie Maizels’ Sketchbook Club.
This is the perfect solution if you would like to enjoying drawing but feel that you can’t, don’t know where to start or would like some inspiration. We wouldn’t bake a cake without a recipe or play an instrument without music.
Sketchbook club teaches us that it is not just about drawing from life and that there is nothing wrong with tracing, copying or being told what to do. During the course of the day we will reduce the fear of the blank page and use a variety of techniques to create some wonderful finished pieces.
Starting with a finished example you will be given full instructions and reference sheets so you can create the same design yourself. The wonderful thing about Sketchbook Club, is that every sketchbook is completely different. It is as free as drawing for yourself, but without the fear of the blank page, or the fear of going wrong.
