Star Quilt – new course starting September 2024

star quilt patchwork course

This is a series of 10 sessions for intermediate to advanced quilters in which you will develop and enhance your skills.

If you already have some patchwork skills but would like to stretch them a little then look no further than our Star quilt course. Over the course of 10 sessions you will be walked through a series of blocks and piecing techniques that will develop your existing patchwork skills. The quilt is made from a series of irregularly sized blocks which are quilted ‘as you go’ and then joined together with a sashing technique. This process allows for quilting of each block individually reducing the need for a large quilt to be quilted on a normal sewing machine.

This stunning star themed quilt works well with fabrics such as batiks,  sometimes very distinct ranges can make the overall look too busy. If you choose from a specific range please be careful in case it is discontinued during the course.

Finished quilt size is 73″ x 88″.
