Boho bag recorded class

This relaxed boho style bag is one of our new favourites. It’s a really lovely project for someone who enjoys sewing and wants to sew with support or someone who fancies taking your first steps into patchwork. Our online classes are fun and friendly (you can check our our reviews on Tripadvisor, Google or Facebook) and because we teach lots of face to face classes too we know where you might go wrong before you do. You are purchasing a recording of a live online class, recorded via Zoom. The beauty of buying a recorded class is that you can stop and start as much as you like.

Your finished bag is a great shoulder bag and can contain all you need without fitting in too much – I’m sure you know what I mean. Of course you could choose to shorten the straps and it would make a great project bag as its soft and squidgy as well as being roomy.

You will need to be able to confidently use your sewing machine but all techniques will be clearly shown and demonstrated and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.During the class you’ll learn the basics of machine pieced patchwork and simple quilting techniques.

If you’ve already accumulated a fabric stash you can have fun curating your own range of squares or buy a something called a ‘charm pack’. A charm pack is a pack of 42 squares curated from a range for fabrics and most commonly available from fabric shops aimed at those that patchwork.

You will need;

42 –  5″ squares

wadding approx 40″ square

lining fabric approx 40″ square

20″ ribbon for closure
