Flip n stitch bag pattern (PDF)

The flip n stitch is a fun technique and this is a really fun project for all skill levels.

The flip and stitch technique is a great way to use a jelly roll or fabrics from your stash and with a fab invisible zip pocket your valuables should always be safe inside.

You will need;

At least a 22″ square of bonded lining to apply patchwork

• 11 x 2 ó ” jelly roll strips plus a larger scrap for centre hexagon

(see template at back of handout)

• Backing of bag 20″ square

• Facing fabric – 2 x (20″ x 5 . “)

• Other lining fabric – 2 x (20″ x 15 . “)

• Pocket fabric – 1 x (11″ wide x 20″ long)

• Invisible zip – 9″ long

• Slip pocket – 2 x (13″wide x 9 ó ” tall) (optional)

• Webbing handle – 22″ long x 2″ wide
